About Public Folder

Public Folder is a book series based on artist contributions dealing with a certain theme. The main focus of the project is to explore the interrelation of images, and how images work in different contexts.

Public Folder is a project by John Harten, who is the same age as the Golden Record, studied in Essen and Cologne and lives and works in Berlin. He also runs the conceptual record label Magazine together with Jens-Uwe Beyer and Daniel Ansorge (Barnt).
